  • Cut the top area off of the plant.
  • Cut the long stem into 2 inch pieces.
  • Set on a plate and put in the freezer. Once frozen, remove the pieces and place them in a zip top bag, place back into the freezer.
  • When you get a sunburn, use the piece of frozen aloe Vera to place directly on the skin.
  • Aloe gel evaporates due to its large amount of water, so it must be applied as often as needed.
