Energy Boosting Superfood Smoothie

Depending on what you put in your smoothies, you can significantly boost your daily nutrition intake and your health with them. Whenever I need an energy boost, I reach for the blender and mix up this energy boosting smoothie. The star ingredients in this smoothie are bee pollen and chia seeds. Bee pollen is loaded with protein and B-vitamins. It is one of the best foods to consume for more energy throughout the day. Chia seeds are another great source of protein which is a building block of the body, hair, skin, nails, muscles, red blood cells. Chia seeds are packed with vitamins A, B, E and D and minerals such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, niacin, phosphorous, potassium, silicon, sodium, sulphur, thiamine and zinc.

Energy Boosting Superfood Smoothie


  • 1 tablespoon bee pollen (where to find)
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon chia seed
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • Raw honey to taste


Blend until very smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy the refreshing flavor of this energy elixir superfood smoothie.
