If you think the secret to securing a successful hook up is rocking up on Tinder whenever you like – think again! It turns out there is a method to the madness.
Swiping for everlasting ‘love’ at 2am is possibly the worst thing you can do and, in fact, there are specific times that you should use the dating app to maximise your number of matches.
Luckily for you, Nielsen has done some fancy research that revealed the apps peak times, to determine when most people are using Tinder.
So, according to the results you should be getting ‘swipe savvy’ between 9 and 10pm every evening – what a great way to end the day!
But, don’t worry, if you are unavailable during those times 1pm is also a popular time to explore your possible love interests while you are bored at lunch.
However, stay away from the early hours of the morning. This is the worst time to get matches, as unsurpsingly most people are asleep – dreaming about their crush rather than swiping for them.
So, next time you are drunk and lonely at 4am, put your phone away as you will only make matters worse by the lack of responses you get at that god forsaken hour.
