Does Prince Harry Have New Girlfriend?

After his long term relationship with Chelsy Davy ended in 2011 and he briefly dated The Saturdays singer Mollie King in 2012, there has been a lot of speculation over who the royal was going to settle down with and when.

Well the when part might not be clear just yet, but it seems Prince Harry has been getting cosy with pop singer Ellie Goulding.

After two years dating the Mcfly bassist Dougie Poynter – the relationship ended earlier this year – the Starry Eyed singer has been pictured with Harry at the Invictus Games Closing Ceremony.

It has been reported that the pair have stepped the friendship up a gear, having shared a goodbye kiss recently after sending flirty texts to one another.

At a polo match last week they were said to be all over each other and only have eyes for one another, spending a lot their time together sharing a blanket.

Ellie isn’t a stranger to the royal family, having performed in 2011 at William and Kate’s wedding and is supposedly quite friendly with the pair.

“I’m friends with them” Goulding said “so it’s not like it’s awkward because I don’t know them. So that’s fine.”

Ellie was also asked to perform at Harry’s 30th birthday party.

Harry however, may not be so happy about the speculation around Ellie and himself, as he recently spoke out about being single and complained about the reports that follow after he spends time with a girl. “That person is then suddenly my wife.”

It does seem that there is more to this than just friendship though, as he was overheard telling some friends how much her liked Ellie.

We will have to wait and see the outcome of this, whether it is just a brief summer romance or something that will last. Either way, they make a very cute couple.
